Welcome to the website of National Charity League, Inc. Camelback Mountain Chapter serving Central Phoenix and the Camelback Mountain Area
Our mission: To foster mother-daughter relationships in a philanthropic organization committed to community service, leadership development, and cultural experiences.
For more than 50 years, National Charity League, Inc. (NCL), a 501©(3) nonprofit, has thrived as one of the nation’s most distinctive and well-respected mother-daughter membership organizations. Today, NCL has more than 160 Chapters with more than 40,000 actively engaged members – women and daughters in grades 7 through 12 – in 17 states. It is the only such volunteer force of its kind serving local communities around the United States.
Annually, NCL members volunteer approximately one million hands-on hours in local communities, and as many or more supporting their own non-profit Chapter corporation. NCL mother and daughter members from coast to coast volunteered a cumulative total of 995,122 hands-on hours directly with not-for-profit philanthropic organizations in their communities in the 2009-2010 fiscal year alone. Using the 2009 published statistic that each volunteer hour is worth $20.85, NCL Chapters provided a value of $20,748,294 to communities nationwide!
